Event in the Museum Bauernhof after the "Helvetia 2022"

Following the international world exhibition "Helvetia 2022" in Lugano, the Kimmel Foundation organized a philatelic event in the Museum Bauernhof. The varied program included guided tours through the museum, presentations and two exciting lectures:

Peter McCann, a renowned philatelist from the United States, gave an interesting introduction to the topic "Dominica - some unusual Postal History". Then Richard Gratton, philatelic expert from Canada, gave a lecture on the important subject of "Abusive and illegal stamps".

The successful event was framed by the kitchen team of the Museum Bauernhof with a delicious lunch and fine snacks.

Culture day"Goldau entdecken"

The event "Goldau entdecken" took place on April 23, 2022 as one of the major events of the 6th Schwyzer Culture Weekend. The Museum Bauernhof also took part in this event. The historic "Bauernhof" has a great regional appeal. It was therefore not surprising that over 150 visitors registered for one of the short tours on site. Interested people of all ages were shown the premises and the exhibition in groups of 8-10 people. The satisfaction of the guests proved that philatelic knowledge is by no means a prerequisite for a visit to the museum.
