Information about the Museum

We welcome our visitors as well as the guests of our bistro on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from Wednesday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For a guided tour, we ask you to book an appointment using the online form.

During our opening times, we can also be reached by telephone to make a booking.

You have two options to choose from for a visit: Museum entry with a guided tour (approx. 60 minutes) and museum entry without a guided tour. Of course, your visit to the museum is not restricted in terms of time: You are welcome to linger and learn more about the world of philately! Please note that the exhibition will be closed from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Adults pay 20.- for admission including a guided tour, children up to 12 years 5.-. One accompanying child up to the age of 12 is free for each adult. Admission without a guided tour costs 5.- for all visitors. We ask groups to contact us so that we can create a package tailored to their wishes and needs.

Before or after your visit to the museum, we will be happy to pamper you with culinary highlights in our bistro. Take a look at our menu. You will find further information about our restaurant here.

In addition to cash, we also accept Maestro, credit cards and Apple Pay.

The Muesum Bauernhof is barrier-free and therefore accessible to everyone.
